About The Position

Our client is looking for a skilled and driven Operations Analyst to support data-driven decision-making and operational performance across a complex, high-volume environment. This position is ideal for a candidate who enjoys working with large data sets, building dashboards, uncovering trends, and influencing business outcomes through reporting and analytics. You will play a key role in both day-to-day operations and strategic improvement initiatives, while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
5+ years of experience in an operations, analytics, or data-focused role
Experience working in high-volume, process-driven environments (regulated industries are an asset)
Advanced to expert proficiency in MS Excel
Strong working knowledge of Power BI and Power Query
Proven experience handling and analyzing large datasets
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
Confident communicator with the ability to present to management and executive audiences
Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
Highly organized with strong multitasking and prioritization skills
Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively
Flexible in taking on leadership responsibilities or supporting team initiatives

Responsibilities

Coordinate and execute daily operational transactions, including account updates, billing activities, and exception handling
Oversee and validate large volumes of data, ensuring accuracy and consistency across multiple systems
Proactively identify and correct data discrepancies and lead clean-up efforts
Act as a subject matter resource for internal teams requiring support on operational or account-related inquiries
Help maintain compliance with internal processes related to contracts and customer records
Create and maintain recurring and ad hoc reports to monitor operational performance
Interpret complex data sets (100K+ records) to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
Develop insights that support process optimization and business strategy
Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders, including leadership teams
Simplify technical outputs into clear, digestible summaries for non-technical audiences
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing workflows and system efficiency
Support system issue resolution by working with internal technology teams and vendors
Participate in cross-functional projects, either taking ownership or supporting delivery
Help define requirements for enhancements to systems, tools, or processes
