About The Position
Responsible for maintaining the integrity and quality of enterprise database systems. They are responsible for ensuring server security is up to date, performing routine back-ups, and designing and implementing tests to address issues with accessing data.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and four (4) years of experience in computer science, information systems or database experience.
- Epic DBA certification or industry standard database certification.
Responsibilities
- Work within UMMC Service desk ticketing system
- Monitors database environments.
- Provides technical knowledge in the design, implementation, configuration, maintenance, and administration of enterprise database systems.
- Identifies and resolves database problems within application environments.
- Works with ODBA senior staff on projects and database implementations.
- Identifies and resolves performance bottlenecks and related performance issues.
