About The Position

Empower AI is seeking an Operational Dashboard Developer for an exciting opportunity at the Department of State. This role involves formulating and defining systems scope and objectives in MS Power BI projects through research and fact-finding, combined with an understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements. The developer will develop or modify moderately complex information systems, analyze business and user needs, document requirements, and revise existing system logic difficulties as necessary. This position will also assist in applying common best MS Power BI practices to the customer using a knowledge base to create conceptual business models and identify relevant issues and considerations in selecting application software packages. The role involves assessing the operational and functional baseline of an organization and its components, defining engagement direction and strategy, and ensuring organizational needs are addressed. Additionally, the developer will guide and advise less experienced Business Systems Analysts and participate in systems analysis phases, considering the business implications of technology application in the current business environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in IT or related field
• Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Certification
• Secret Security Clearance
• 5+ years of experience

Nice To Haves

• At least two (2) years of experience in MS Power BI implementation

Responsibilities

• Guides and advises less experienced Business Systems Analysts.
• Works in some phases of systems analysis and considers the business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment.
