About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking an Operational Accounting Associate in our Chief Operating Office, Reconciliation team. In this role, you will perform operational accounting activities related to account reconcilement and maintenance, provide operational accounting support to internal business groups or operations departments to ensure that accounts are being managed within the account policy requirements, prepare and review account reconciliations and certifications, perform customer account maintenance duties, evaluate the operational accounting transactions and maintenance of operational accounting controls, and collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals.

Requirements

• 6+ months of Operational Accounting experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Nice To Haves

• Retail banking with branch transaction experience
• Research and resolve moderately complex accounting issues and exceptions experience
• Experience aggregating data from multiple systems of record including Hogan and Common Recon
• Receivable or accounts payable experience
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Customer service experience
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
