About The Position

The Operation Technician follows production and safety procedures to process materials as directed. The role performs daily production activities, operates plant equipment, and helps ensure materials are stored in the correct locations. The technician reports quality, safety, or machinery concerns to the foreman or supervisor and follows company policies, procedures, and requirements. The position also supports the company’s Quality, Environmental, Safety, and Lean program and requires completion of company training.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work overtime on short notice.
• Ability to pass required company training.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in the P/M industry or a manufacturing environment.
• Forklift driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Follow instructions and procedures to complete daily production activities.
• Adhere to safety requirements at all times.
• Operate a fork truck and other plant equipment.
• Ensure materials are stored in the correct locations throughout the facilities.
• Report quality, safety, or machinery concerns to the foreman or supervisor.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, requirements, and resources.
• Comply with and improve the company’s Quality, Environmental, Safety, and Lean program.
• Complete required company training.
