About The Position

The Operating Room Technician assists the surgical team with duties to facilitate quality patient care. Assist in cleaning of the Surgical Services department, stocking supplies, maintaining inventory, patient and lab specimen transport. Clerical/receptionist duties and maintaining the physical environment of the area. Assist with the decontamination, cleaning, processing and sterilizing of supplies and equipment.

Requirements

• High School Education or GED
• Health related experience and knowledge of medical terminology & some basic general anatomy preferred (minimal 1-year experience).
• Computer Skills
• Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
• Ability to use and maintain cleaning equipment chemicals
