Get to Know Your Team: Hillcrest Hospital Claremore is a 49-bed acute care medical center offering a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services, including maternity, cardiology, emergency, orthopedics, alcohol withdrawal stabilization, gastroenterology and surgery.
Requirements
- High School graduate or GED
Nice To Haves
- Proficient in sterile techniques to instruments, supplies and equipment
- Knowledgeable in the proper technique in handling, disinfecting, and sterilizing instruments
Responsibilities
- Assistance in positioning the patient
- Room turn-over
- Terminally cleaning OR rooms
- Maintain anesthesia machines, ventilators, and various small pieces of equipment in working order
- Follows policy and procedures for patient identification and transportation
- Communicates effectively with charge nurse, co-worker, and anesthesia regarding patient care needs
- Restocks, provides effective turnover of surgery procedure rooms and transfers of patients
- Clean and stock anesthesia machines, equipment, and carts
