About The Position

This position performs a wide variety of technical and manual tasks in the Operating Room, under the direction of Surgical Services. Requirements

• High School Graduate General Studies and One year of full time experience as a central service technician, upon hire or High School GED General Studies and One year of full time experience as a central service technician, upon hire
• Six months experience in processing and assembly of surgical instruments.
• Certified and Registered Central Service Technician, upon hire or Certified Sterile Processing and Dist Supervisor, upon hire or Certified Sterile Processing and Dist Tech, upon hire or Cert Sterile Processing Dist Tech, upon hire

Nice To Haves

• Experience requirement may be waived for individuals who have successfully completed a Central Services Technician (CST) externship at Sequoia Hospital.
