About The Position

Advanced Surgery Center of Metairie is seeking a full-time Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN). This position offers a high-quality, service-oriented environment for surgical procedures. The facility is accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC) and is physician-owned. It features 2 operating rooms and 1 treatment room equipped with advanced technology for procedures in Orthopedics, Sports Medicine, ENT, Podiatry, Pain Management, and Ocular Plastics. This role specifically offers no weekends, no holidays, and no call requirements.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
• Active RN license in the state
• BLS, ACLS, or PALS as required by the center
• A minimum of 1 year experience working as a OR RN
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the operating room.
• Utilize nursing judgment to make decisions.
• Support surgical procedures in various specialties.
