About The Position

Shrewsbury Surgery Center has an immediate need for a part time Operating Room RN! At Shrewsbury Surgery Center, we provide first-class surgical services for local communities and recognize our employees as our number one assets. We focus on offering a high quality, ambulatory care alternative to a hospital for surgical procedures. Our facility is accredited by The Joint Commission.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
• Active RN license in the state
• BLS, ACLS, or PALS as required by the center
• A minimum of 1 year of experience working as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care and service during surgical cases.
• Responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case.
• Experienced in surgical procedures in the following specialties: ENT, General Surgery, Gynecology, Orthopedic, Pain Management, Plastic, Podiatry, Spine, and Urology.
