About The Position
The Per Diem Operating Room RN plays a vital role in supporting patients through their fertility journey by delivering exceptional care in the surgical suite. As a Per Diem Operating Room RN, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide pre-, intra-, and post-operative care while ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and comfort. We are seeking a Per Diem Operating Room RN to join our dedicated team at Pinnacle Fertility - Washington, located in Seattle, WA. This is a per diem on-site position offering flexibility and the opportunity to contribute to a patient’s life-changing journey.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited nursing program (Associate’s Degree in Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing).
- Active RN license issued by the Washington State Board of Nursing.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Minimum of 2-3 years' experience as a Circulating Nurse in the OR, surgical experience a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a diverse and fast-paced environment.
- Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for procedures, perform preoperative assessment, give discharge instructions, and start IV.
- Recover patients after general anesthesia and monitored anesthesia care.
- Reinforce discharge instructions.
- Deliver direct patient care during pre-, intra-, and post-operative phases in the surgical suite.
- Accurately document patient care and procedures in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Clearly communicate post-operative instructions to patients and families.
- Oversee surgical suite operations, ensuring cleanliness, sterility, and equipment functionality.
- Adhere to and enforce aseptic techniques, quality control measures, and safety standards.
- Initiate emergency protocols as needed and coordinate equipment repairs.
- Mentor new staff and provide updates on any protocol changes.
- Support organizational policies and contribute to process improvements.
- Collaborate with the Surgery Manager to assess equipment and supply needs.
- Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes to the surgical team.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
Benefits
- Hourly Rate: $45.00-$66.00 per hour (Final offers based on experience, skills, and qualifications).
