About The Position
Join the Operating Room team at our brand new Ambulatory Surgery Center in Wilton, NY, where you’ll be part of a dedicated group of professionals committed to excellence in patient care. You’ll work alongside experienced surgeons and a supportive team, gaining valuable experience and enhancing your skills in orthopedic surgery.
Requirements
- Current unrestricted NYS RN License
- BCLS required
- Minimum one year as an OR nurse
- Ability to effectively communicate with providers, patients, and peers
Nice To Haves
- ACLS/PALS preferred
- two or more years preferred with scrub and circulating experience
Responsibilities
- Assist in the organization and daily function of the operating room
- Plan, implement, and assist in the oversight of patient care
- Circulate and scrub cases, as assigned
- Accurately document care given according to center policies and procedures
- Maintain high safety standards for both patients and other staff
- Monitor stock levels, supplies, and equipment needs
- Other responsibilities as needed/assigned
