About The Position

Emory Healthcare is hiring an experienced Registered Nurse for its Operating Room at Winship Emory Midtown, a standalone cancer institute that opened in 2023 and is Georgia's only NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center. The Operating Room currently has six rooms, with four more planned. Its care communities serve patients with specific types of cancer and offer specialized infusion, clinical examination, research, support, and rehabilitation services as part of a patient-centered approach. The RN Clinician (SS) provides care for a specific patient population, applying clinical knowledge, research, and experience to adapt care to changing situations. The nurse personalizes care using the AACN Synergy Model for Patient Care, serves as a resource to colleagues, and advocates for patients and families. The position is full-time, works 10:45 a.m. to 9:15 p.m., and requires call. One year of operating room circulating or scrub experience is needed. Emory Healthcare describes its work environment as supportive and offers mentorship and leadership programs.
