About The Position
Des Peres Square Surgery Center is hiring a full-time Operating Room Registered Nurse. The Registered Nurse Circulator provides nursing care and service during surgery cases, including positioning and prepping patients and circulating cases. The role involves surgical procedures across specialties including cosmetic surgery, general surgery, GI, gynecology, ophthalmology, orthopedic surgery, pain management, podiatry, spine, total joints, and urology. The position is weekdays only, with no holidays, weekends, or call. Some later evenings are required. Competitive salary and benefits are offered.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
- Active RN license in the state.
- ACLS required.
- Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.
- Ability to prioritize and organize workload to meet the needs of patients and the unit.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with surgical procedures in cosmetic surgery, general surgery, GI, gynecology, ophthalmology, orthopedic surgery, pain management, podiatry, spine, total joints, and urology.
