About The Position
Southeastern Surgical Center is hiring an Operating Room Nurse, Full Time. This role involves providing nursing care and service during surgery cases. The Circulating RN will be responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case. Experience in surgical procedures in the following specialties is applicable: Prostate Cancer, Urinary Impotence, Elective Dysfunction & Impotence, Vasectomy and Vasectomy Reversal.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
- Active RN license in the state
- BLS, ACLS, or PALS as required by the center
- A minimum of 1 year experience working as a Circulator
- Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment
Responsibilities
- Provides nursing care and service during surgery cases.
- Positions the patient.
- Preps the patient.
- Circulates the case.
