About The Position

Manage and lead the operating room department, ensuring adherence to current AORN guidelines and evidence-based practices. Responsibilities include overseeing staff, managing operational metrics, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in an OR leadership role with trauma experience.
• A strong understanding of current AORN guidelines and evidence-based practice.
• Experience with TJC and DOH surveys, regulatory preparedness, and managing KPIs.
• Proficiency with UKG/Kronos/Workday/staff scheduling systems.

• HRO training beneficial

Responsibilities

• Lead results for KPI, including turnaround times and first case on-time starts.
• Focus on TJC and DOH survey readiness and regulatory preparedness.
• Roll out new projects and sustain compliance.
• Manage a collective bargaining department.
• Provide direct care for patients in the OR.
