Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

The Operating Room Aide is responsible for the turnover of rooms in the surgical suite and assists in the preparation of surgical cases under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
Turnover includes cleaning the Operating Room.
The Operating Room Aide assumes responsibility and accountability for patient care as a team member in order to achieve established outcomes.
