About The Position
The Operating Room Aide (OR Aide) is responsible for maintaining designated supplies in assigned areas, ensuring all equipment and supplies are available for each surgical case, and verifying that instruments/equipment are functional. This role also involves reestablishing a safe and clean environment by cleaning rooms and surroundings, removing linens or disposable items following established regulatory policies, and performing terminal cleaning of rooms.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent training preferred.
- Current unrestricted licensure as a Certified Nurse Assistant in the State of Colorado (preferred) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Previous hospital or healthcare experience preferred, especially in a surgical or procedural setting.
