Operating Partner, MobileFirst Ventures

The Mobile-First CompanyMiami, FL
Hybrid

About The Position

The Mobile-First Company is building mobile-first business software that feels like a consumer app, runs on AI, and spreads like a creator brand. Their first product, Allo, provides a second number on a phone, answers missed calls with AI, transcribes calls, and syncs them to a CRM, with over 20,000 businesses using it daily. The company has raised over $15 million from notable investors and operates with a team based in Paris, Buenos Aires, and Miami. The Operating Partner role is designed to run acquired service businesses day-to-day, owning the P&L, managing frontline teams, and making critical decisions for business growth. This is a hands-on CEO-like position, accountable for revenue, margin, headcount, and customer experience from the start, reporting directly to the CEO and collaborating on new acquisitions and integrations.

  • Direct ownership of a P&L and experience making payroll.
  • Ability to manage frontline teams, including technicians, cleaners, drivers, and baristas, requiring presence, clarity, and trust.
  • A desire for ownership over a title, with a drive to prove oneself.
  • A proactive approach to creating structure in unstructured environments.
  • Proficiency in using AI tools daily, such as Claude, Cursor, or equivalent.
  • Experience owning a P&L (not just managing it).
  • Experience leading frontline or mixed-skill teams (not exclusively knowledge workers).
  • Experience operating within a service business, rollup, or search fund portfolio company.
  • Daily use of AI tools in work.
  • Miami-based or willingness to relocate.
