About The Position

Kimberly-Clark's Ogden, UT Facility is seeking a safety-focused, impact-driven Operating Partner to join their fast-paced, high-performing Operating Team. This role involves operating machinery that produces essential products, with a focus on safety, quality, and production performance. The Operating Partner will collaborate within a self-directed work team, utilizing critical thinking and troubleshooting skills to achieve industry-leading targets. The position requires active participation in a team environment, operating heavy equipment at times, making machine adjustments for quality control, documenting performance metrics, and adhering to rigorous standards through continuous improvement.

Requirements

Are 18 years or older and authorized to work in the United States.
Have a state and/or US Department of Education accredited high school diploma, GED Grade 12 certificate.
Have basic computer knowledge and good math skills.
Are able to maintain a work schedule of 12-hour rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays and overtime.
Can pass a pre-employment assessment and a pre-employment drug + background screening.
Can pass post-offer / pre-hire Physical Abilities Test (PAT).
Demonstrated prior experience with a focus on working safely and hazard recognition.
Must have the ability, drive and desire to work in a team environment.
Must have minimum of 1 year of manufacturing or comparable work experience.

Nice To Haves

Ability to utilize plant computer systems such as: Production MRP System (SAP), Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, PIMS, etc. is a plus.
Electrical/Mechanical aptitude such as troubleshooting, disassembling equipment, parts replacement, general machine repair is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Working in a safe manner to consistently identify and correct unsafe acts and conditions.
Operating heavy equipment such as forklifts and overhead cranes.
Utilizing problem-solving and decision-making skills to operate and adjust machines for high quality material standards.
Active participation in a self-directed work team system, including providing feedback to build participation and engagement.
Documenting, accounting for, and completing daily performance metrics in verbal and written formats.
Valuing and supporting rigorous adherence to standards through daily accountability and continuous improvement.
Identifying machine faults and variations in runtime stability.
Ensuring quality tests are done correctly and in a timely manner, and documents are maintained as required.
