The engineer in this role will serve as a Lead Operability Monitoring Engineer on the Electrical, Controls, and Operability (EC&O) Monitoring Team. The engineer in this role will execute proactive operability monitoring and diagnostic assessments across the fleet, with focus on detecting performance-limiting behavior and system interactions early and converting data into clear, actionable recommendations. The engineer in this role will support the team mission to detect, diagnose, and communicate abnormal electrical, controls, and system-level behavior before issues become outages, repeat events, or sustained performance losses. The engineer in this role will develop and execute operability monitoring methods and diagnostic assessments for high-impact operability issues, including abnormal operating envelopes, curtailment interactions, nuisance operational constraints, and performance-limiting fleet behavior patterns. The engineer in this role will work closely with more senior members on the team and cross-functional partners in Services, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Fleet Reliability, Root Cause Analysis, and Fleet Performance teams.
