About The Position

The OpenText Content Server and Sitecore Administrator (Manager, Information Technology) will support and enhance our Electronic Document Management (EDM)/Sitecore environment. This role primary responsible is for the administration, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of OpenText Content Server to ensure secure, reliable, and efficient document and records management across the enterprise.

Requirements

  • Six years of full time experience in information technology.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Technology, Information Systems Technology, Computer Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
  • Six years of full time experience in information technologies project development and implementation or business operations, three years of which must have been in an administrative or supervisory capacity; or a satisfactory combination of education (High School Diploma / GED at the minimum) and experience.
  • Selective Certification for Specialty Experience Development Specialty: a minimum of Five years of post-secondary education and/or experience specializing in: All phases of software development, including project management, requirements gathering, systems analysis/design, programming, testing, user support, and implementation; or package software implementation, including project management, portfolio management, business analytics, business analysis, Data science, Quality Assurance, and user support.
  • Support Specialty: a minimum of Five years of post-secondary education and/or experience specializing in: experience in managing and supporting enterprise-level application systems, including Desktop and Network Operating Systems, network and software applications.
  • Additionally, applicants will need Two years managing a team.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Sitecore administration (content management, user roles, publishing workflows).
  • Exposure to content integration and API-based connectivity.
  • Experience with compliance frameworks (e.g., SOX, GDPR, HIPAA).
  • Certification in OpenText Content Server or related technologies.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Administer, configure, and maintain OpenText Content Server (Livelink) environments.
  • Manage system performance, availability, and reliability, including monitoring and troubleshooting.
  • Implement and support Electronic Document Management (EDM) processes including document capture, storage, retrieval, and archival.
  • Design and manage user roles, permissions, and security models to ensure compliance with organizational policies.
  • Perform system upgrades, patches, and migrations as required.
  • Develop and maintain workflows, forms, and business process automations within OpenText.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and implement content management solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with records management, retention, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support integrations between OpenText and other enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, Custom .Net applications).
  • Create and maintain system documentation, SOPs, and user training materials.
  • Interacts directly with senior management to provide project information and recommendations.
  • Analyzes and recommends resource requirements for multiple simultaneous information technology teams and products.
  • Participates in setting and reviewing performance standards for information technology products, projects and resources.
  • Performs specific duties based on assignment to a department, division, or unit within the NYCSCA.
  • Performs related tasks.
  • May perform the duties of Information Technology Specialist - A/B, such as: Participates in the evaluation of hardware and software and assists in the creation of procurement documents.
  • Manages subordinates and maintains information technology systems, applications, and/or equipment.
  • Interacts with users to gather, review and create business requirements and to determine appropriate information technology solutions.
  • Provides solutions to users regarding information technology issues and/or needs.
  • Analyzes and acquires information technology project resources.
  • Makes information technology recommendations to senior management regarding systems, applications, and/or equipment.
  • Organizes the provision of training to information technology staff and/or users.
  • Develops Change management plans.
  • Develops and maintains information technology project plans and schedules.
