About The Position

This is a Dallas/TX Onsite position. Mandatory 3 to 5 days work from office. The role focuses on OpenShift administration and related technologies, including OpenShift Data Foundation, OpenShift Platform Plus, Advanced Cluster Management, Advanced Cluster Security, and Ceph Administration. It requires extensive knowledge of Linux Containers (Docker), Kubernetes, and the deployment of containerized applications/microservices architectures. Additionally, working knowledge of Java, JBoss, nginx, Node.js, and enterprise application architectures is expected, along with specific experience in migrating and refactoring applications to containerized workloads and experience with automated deployment tools.

Requirements

Extensive knowledge of Linux Containers (Docker), Kubernetes
Working knowledge of Java, JBoss, nginx, Node.js, and enterprise application architectures
Specific knowledge and experience with migrating and refactoring applications to containerized workloads
Experienced with automated deployment tools
Conceptual and applied understanding of DevOps concepts, tools, and practices
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab
Analytic skills and the ability to apply these skills in a multi-tasking environment
Ability to communicate complex technical issues, and provide comprehensive written, oral and digital products
Working knowledge of networking topics such as protocols, firewalls, load balancer, etc.
Willingness to document, share knowledge and train other members of the team

Nice To Haves

Working knowledge of SSL certificates
Experience with Agile teams, tools, practices & ceremonies (kanban, stand-ups, sprints, etc.)
Keeps abreast of relevant industry leading standards and emerging technologies
