This is an on-call, part-time, hourly position working no more than 39 hours per week. The position functions independently or as part of a team under the Open Space Program, stewarding ecosystems in the urban environment, enhancing their resiliency, usability, and safety, and ensuring environmental protection. The role is ideal for entry-level and seasoned professionals with educational backgrounds in ecology, environmental studies, natural resources, wildlife conservation, horticulture, forestry, arboriculture, or related disciplines, and with experience in these fields. The position focuses on managing the City’s environmental assets.
