About The Position
The Open Space Operations Technician 1 is a full-time (40 hours a week), year-round position that assists with maintenance of open space areas throughout Columbia.
Requirements
- Prior verifiable landscaping and/or ground maintenance experience is required.
- Be at least 18 years old
- Have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
- Must be able to obtain a Department Of Transportation Physical Fitness Certification.
- Must be able to communicate effectively, work overtime on evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
Responsibilities
- Outdoor manual labor, including lifting, bending, walking, trash removal, and operation of small power and hand equipment.
