About The Position

Peraton seeks a Cyber Intelligence Analyst to track and monitor cyber threats via multiple means including open source and support the intelligence team with All Source Operations and Intelligence reporting and scripting. This role is located at USSPACECOM, Colorado Springs, CO. The analyst will conduct short-term and long-term cyber threat analysis, including open source research, for targeting support to offensive and defensive cyberspace operations. They will also support full spectrum intel analysis of global cyberspace operations, providing expertise on open source cyber threats. Additionally, the role involves first-phase analysis of cyber incidents, supporting all-source intelligence analysis and production support for cyber threat warnings (Indications and Warnings - I&W), supporting current operations, and conducting strategic studies. A key aspect of the role is to collaboratively support and cultivate the intel team's relationships with leaders and staff members of components and various national, DoD, and inter-agency offices.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years experience with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD. Will consider HS with 12+ years of experience or Associates and 10+ years of experience.
  • Must have experience producing DoD threat reports
  • Must be familiar with roles and responsibilities of various national, DoW and inter-agency offices for intelligence reporting and analysis
  • Must have experience supporting cyberspace operations
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Active TS clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain SCI.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with DoW and commercial open-source cyber threat tools
  • Experience/familiarity with US space operations
