About The Position

The Renal Research Office (RRO) is a vibrant site on north campus with 25 trials, 14 coordinators, 2 APPs, and 10 Investigators. We are passionate about research and love what we do! This position will serve as primary coordinator for a large R01 trial focusing on Type 2 Diabetes in Adults. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in any field.
• Intermediate Level: One (1) year of clinical research or related experience.
• Senior Level: Two (2) years of clinical research or related experience.
• A combination of education and related technical/military/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree on a year-for-year basis.
• An advanced degree (Masters or PhD) may be substituted for experience on a year-for-year basis if the degree is in a field of study directly related to the work assignment.
• Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
• Knowledge and understanding of federal regulations and Good Clinical Practice (GCP).
• Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and orally.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees at all levels throughout the institution.
• Outstanding customer service skills.
• Knowledge of basic human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
• Ability to interpret and master complex research protocol information.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in science or health related field.
• Three (3) years of clinical research or related experience.
• Experience with electronic data capture systems (e.g. EMR or EHR and data management systems).

Responsibilities

• Coordinating and conducting research visits at Adult CTRC.
• Utilizing CTRC Scheduler.
• Transport study supplies and samples across campus in timely and safe manner.
• Scheduling eye exams at the Barbara Davis Center.
• Performing vascular testing using the AtCor SphygmoCor.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date study records and data entry.
