About The Position
The University of Tennessee Health Science Center, Department of Anesthesiology is seeking a non-tenure track Pediatric Anesthesiologist as a full-time academic Open Rank Professor to work at Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital. Academic rank is commensurate with training and experience.
Requirements
- MD, DO, or equivalent degree
- Completion of an accredited Anesthesiology Residency program and a pediatric fellowship
- ABPN board certification or board eligibility
- A current unrestricted Tennessee medical license at time of appointment
- Current DEA certification number
Responsibilities
- Direct patient care
- Teaching and supervision of nurse anesthetists and residents
- Opportunities for clinical and basic science research are available
