About The Position
The University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Medicine, Department of Surgery, Division of Transplantation, in partnership with the Methodist Transplant Institute in Memphis, TN, is accepting applications for an experienced multi-organ abdominal transplant surgeon to serve as Chief of the Division of Transplantation. This is a full-time tenure track Open Rank Professor. As a leader in the field of organ transplantation for more than forty years, this transplant program provides liver, kidney and pancreas transplantation, living donor organ transplantation, and general surgery to patients with end-stage organ disease in the Midsouth.
Requirements
- Experienced multi-organ abdominal transplant surgeon.
- Board certified or eligible in General Surgery.
- Completion of an ASTS-accredited fellowship in multi-organ abdominal transplantation.
- Eligible for Tennessee medical license.
- Eligible for faculty appointment at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center.

- Previous leadership experience in a transplant program.
Responsibilities
- Serve as Chief of the Division of Transplantation.
