About The Position
Oversee the Pavilion gymnasium during open gym times. The attendant’s duties include registering participants, collecting entry fees, verifying resident status, setting up/taking down equipment and overseeing the gymnasium and its participants.
Requirements
- Ability to communicate in various situations
- Good knowledge of pertinent safety precautions
- Ability to maintain positive and effective working relationships with other employees
- High school diploma
- At least two years athletic experience (playing and/or coaching)
- CPR/AED Certified

Responsibilities
- Registering participants
- Collecting entry fees
- Verifying resident status
- Setting up/taking down equipment
- Overseeing the gymnasium and its participants
- Prepare closing statements
- Make nightly deposits
- Set up and take down athletic equipment
- Follow the check-in procedures for participants
- Adhere to the open gym schedule for participants
- Ensure efficient division of courts (when necessary)
- Perform the job safely and in compliance with district policies, procedures, work and safety rules
- Be familiar with the safe operation of any equipment necessary in accomplishing required tasks
