About The Position

This role involves assisting in the setup, adjustment, and operation of machinery to produce goods or parts according to specifications. The Op Tech will support the acquisition of operation plans and carry out the processing of manufacturing batches of bulk materials/ingredients, including mechanical processing. Responsibilities also include performing cleaning, servicing, and routine maintenance on machines, monitoring machine operation, identifying and troubleshooting problems, and administering operational processes with accurate record-keeping.

Requirements

• Experience with machinery setup, adjustment, and operation
• Ability to process manufacturing batches of bulk materials/ingredients
• Skills in mechanical processing
• Proficiency in cleaning, servicing, and routine maintenance of machines
• Capability to monitor machine operation and perform repairs
• Strong problem-identification and troubleshooting skills
• Experience in administering operational processes and record-keeping

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the setup, adjustment and operation of machinery to produce goods or parts according to specifications
• Supporting the acquisition of operation plans and carrying out the processing of manufacturing batches of bulk materials/ingredients, including mechanical processing as required
• Performing cleaning, servicing and routine maintenance on machines to ensure they remain in good working order
• Supporting the monitoring of machines during operation to ensure they are functioning properly and carrying out repairs as needed
• Identifying problems (causes) that occur with machines and supporting the optimization of processes for troubleshooting
• Administering operational processes and keeping accurate records of machine performance
