About The Position

The operator is responsible for the proper functioning of all activities related to the collection of hazardous materials and also handles the treatment of contaminated water, all under the supervision of the Assistant Director of Operations.

Requirements

High school diploma or DEP completed.
Ability to work alone and in a team with minimal supervision.
Valid Class 3 driver's license.
Good physical condition.

Responsibilities

Proceed with the collection of hazardous materials from clients according to directives and regulations on the transport of dangerous goods.
Assist MDR operations for waste transfer, box maintenance, container cleaning, and inventory updates.
Ensure the proper functioning of equipment related to the wastewater treatment process.
Receive clients and gather necessary information for operational compliance and billing.
Proceed with sampling and treatability tests. Inform the plant manager when results are out of spec.
Direct the unloading of incoming materials on site based on characteristics obtained from treatability tests.
Perform minor repairs on process equipment.
Maintain the plant and equipment.
Participate in equipment maintenance efforts during planned production shutdowns.
Support management by ensuring health and safety regulations are maintained.
Perform all other related tasks required by the branch's activities.
