About The Position

We are looking for an Onsite Technician (RF/Systems) in the Chicago, IL area who has a strong desire to resolve technical issues, is flexible, learns quickly, and can work independently while providing support and guidance to our customer base on SONIFI products. This role is dedicated to supporting a specific healthcare system across multiple hospital locations within the region. Your day will be spent supporting our customers across multiple hospital sites within your assigned region. We will supply you with the tools needed for success: a company vehicle, tools, cell phone, laptop, and technical support. SONIFI’s team is changing people's lives through memorable guest experiences all delivered through an integrated technology and service platform. We work with global brands like DIRECTV, LG and Samsung and leverage technology from Google and Amazon. SONIFI's core solutions include interactive television, streaming, Internet access, Free To Guest, and healthcare integrations, along with unparalleled nationwide technical support and professional services.

Requirements

  • Technical degree plus ONE year of related experience in High Speed Internet and WIFI, Satellite TV, Digital TV, IPTV, Telecom, RF, CATV, MATV, and Head end.
  • OR High School Diploma or GED plus THREE years’ work experience in High Speed Internet and WIFI, Satellite TV, Digital TV, IPTV, Telecom, RF, CATV, MATV, and Head end.
  • Valid driver’s license and safe driving habits.
  • Comfort working across multiple locations.
  • Ability to learn quickly and work independently.

  • Participate in an on-call rotation.
