The OnSite Specialist provides in-room support for minimally invasive surgical (MIS) and related procedures, ensuring optimal performance of Stryker and third-party equipment. This role bridges clinical teams, SPD, and Stryker service lines to maintain smooth, high-quality OR operations. The Specialist utilizes a wide array of knowledge, technical skills, and critical thinking abilities to facilitate job functions during surgical procedures as well as preoperative and postoperative equipment management. They are responsible for managing all relevant equipment, anticipating the needs of OR staff and surgeons, and troubleshooting/maintaining Stryker equipment and other related devices. This role involves working with various personnel, maintaining knowledge of equipment and products through training, and providing information on new and current products to physicians and OR personnel. Accurate data recording and reporting related to job functions and surgical procedures are essential, as is maintaining up-to-date account information and completing vendor credentialing. The Specialist must adhere to all Stryker and medical facility policies, standards, and procedures, analyze and resolve product issues, and maintain a professional appearance and attitude. Adherence to HIPAA and patient confidentiality policies is required. Support and coverage may be needed on all shifts at the assigned account, as well as at other accounts in and outside the region, potentially including on-call, overnight, and weekends, with possible overnight travel. Assigned shifts may change without notice based on account/business needs, including rotating shifts. The position is field-based.
