About The Position

Mallory Safety & Supply is hiring an Onsite Inventory Specialist to join our Onsite team! As a rapidly growing company, we are looking for individuals interested in building a career and being part of an amazing team. Although the day-to-day tasks may vary, your overall objective as an Onsite Inventory Specialist will be to meet the needs of our customers by fulfilling orders and auditing inventory onsite. Our ideal candidate is someone who takes initiative, possesses creative problem-solving skills, a desire to be part of something greater and navigates through challenges with a growth mindset. Dependent on performance, this role can offer overtime, travel opportunities and career development. You will be acting as a representative of Mallory on our client site ensuring the highest safety standards, so their employees can stay safe on the job day in and day out! This is great for someone who likes customer service, working independently, and working in an industrial setting!

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license with at least two years of driving experience and a driving record that aligns with our Safe Driver policy
  • OSHA 10 certification — if not already obtained, Mallory will enroll the candidate, who will have 30 days from their start date to complete it
  • Ability to keep up in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong customer service skills and a passion for delivering results
  • Creative problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with technology and various software, including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to read and write in English
  • Candidates must be eligible for rehire if they have previously worked at Gigafactory.
  • Attendance is a firm requirement for this role, along with availability for the rotating weekend shifts described above.
  • The ideal candidate communicates effectively, multitasks well, and is comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous warehouse, merchandising, and/or inventory experience preferred
  • Steel-toe shoes

Responsibilities

  • Restock vending machines and refill dispensers with PPE and other safety and industrial items
  • Run and review restock reports to ensure accurate inventory levels
  • Maintain inventory accuracy by following process development and quality standards
  • Complete cycle counts and reports to ensure the customer always has stock
  • Inspect first aid cabinets, AEDs, eye wash and shower stations, and emergency lights
  • Clean and maintain equipment and machines
  • Document inspections via virtual reporting software
  • Complete detailed audits using a checklist
  • Communicate effectively with internal teammates and external customers via phone, email, and in person
