About The Position

Medcor is seeking a full-time EMT, Paramedic, or LPN to serve as an Onsite Health Technician in an employer-based occupational health clinic located in Redmond, WA. This role involves providing first aid, care, and treatment following established protocols, as well as supporting employee wellness, education, and teaching. The technician will also manage daily clinic operations, including supply ordering and compliance. Collaboration with the employer's Safety Team, Human Resources, and offsite medical providers is expected. The position requires independent work with remote support available from the operations manager and other Medcor staff.

Requirements

  • Ability to work independently with good time management and organizational skills
  • Valid licensure for the position being applied for
  • Current CPR/BLS certification
  • Strong computer and other technology skills (navigate cell phones, texting, fax machines, etc.)
  • Familiarity with EMR software
  • Ability to lift a 50lb emergency response bag
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills
  • Positive and outgoing personality
  • Willingness to go above and beyond
  • Passion for people and providing the best care
  • Ability to have fun

  • Comfortable working in a worksite clinic environment
  • Relevant occupational health experience
  • Experience in emergency medicine or critical care

Responsibilities

  • Administer and manage health service functions and daily clinic operations
  • Provide superior customer service to Medcor’s client and employees
  • Assessment and treatment of workplace injuries and illnesses according to Medcor’s Evidence Based Medicine protocols, known as the Medcor Care Protocols (MCPs)
  • Build and maintain internal team relationships
  • Support for onsite employee health and wellness efforts
  • Collaborate with client professionals in health, safety and environmental practices
  • Collaborate with client human resources and benefits professionals on clinic issues
  • Document and manage information using electronic medical records software and other tools
  • Pre-employment and post-offer screenings
  • Physical Assessment Testing (PATs)
  • Case management
  • OSHA record-keeping
  • General administrative duties
