About The Position

Grand River Preparatory High School, located in Grand Rapids, MI, serves students in grades 9-12. Requirements

• Knowledge of and the ability to assist in teaching reading, writing, and/or mathematics.
• Understanding of and capability to navigate technical systems.

Responsibilities

• Provides instructional assistance for students in need of academic intervention through 1:1 or group workshops as directed.
• Commits to educating the whole student – academically, morally, and socially.
• Collects student data and documentation, and tracks student attendance.
• Communicates student performance or concerns with parents.
• Serves as the primary contact for student behavior or attendance issues.
• Assists with hallway, commons, lunch room and parking lot supervision.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
