About The Position

ComPsych is hiring a part-time Onsite EAP Counselor to provide direct clinical services at a customer’s site in Santa Clara, California. The counselor must be a licensed behavioral health professional with a strong clinical background and the ability to make quick, accurate clinical decisions. The role provides short-term counseling and crisis intervention, workplace behavioral-health consultation, support for Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) debriefings, and education about Employee Assistance Program services. The schedule is 20 hours per week across three days.

Requirements

• Licensed behavioral health professional.
• At least 3 years of direct clinical experience.
• Experience providing employer-related consultations in an employment setting.
• Knowledge of facilitating CISM debriefings, training, and presentations.
• Sound clinical judgment.
• Excellent critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to foster partnerships with employer leadership.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with the employer and ComPsych leadership.
• Availability to work part-time hours: 20 hours per week across 3 days.

Responsibilities
