About The Position

This is a 3rd shift position (10:30pm-7:00am) at the Kraft Heinz plant in Cedar Rapids, IA. The plant operates 3 shifts and is a non-union facility with approximately 200 hourly staff members. The facility focuses on Food Service products, including frozen soups and macaroni & cheese, with multiple production lines. The role involves ensuring machines are set up correctly, products are run efficiently, and maintaining a focus on quality and safety.

Responsibilities

Operate Onpack machines, must be familiar with settings for all varieties of products
Assemble on-pack machine, including X-Rays
Sanitize conveyer buckets
Hook up pipes to the kettles
Name, code, and date product
Monitor accurate temperature
Return/Retrieve preweigh carts from prep/blanch
Documentation of times, temps, and weights
Accurately document required information into IQS
Challenge metal detector and X-Ray
Change film
Other duties as assigned
