About The Position

Online Education Services (OES) partners with universities to provide engaging online programs. This position is with Aston Online, in association with Aston University, Birmingham. Aston Online focuses on delivering world-class online degrees tailored for students unable to attend on-campus. The student is central to Aston Online's mission. This role offers the chance to support and guide students through their learning journey. Online Tutors are subject matter experts who facilitate student learning and help them achieve their goals.

Requirements

• Candidates will be required to meet AACSB accreditation requirements.
• Hold a minimum of a PhD/DBA in a related subject.
• A minimum of 5 years relevant industry experience.
• A minimum of 5 years teaching and assessing to include PGT post-experience.
• Ability to teach across a range of topics including Strategy and Economics in a Global Context, Strategic Marketing and Financial Decision Making, Leadership and Operational Excellence, and Digital Transformation: Innovating for the Future.
• High standards and demonstrable impact on students' learning.
• Motivated by student success and passionate about online learning.
• A passionate and excellent, clear communicator.
• Strong presentation skills and the ability to maintain an engaging and positive online presence.
• Proactive and organised.
• Thrive in a remote working environment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience of using Virtual Learning Environments as learning tools.
• Experience of teaching and assessing online programmes.

Responsibilities

• Providing an exceptional student experience through the delivery of academic content developed by our partner academics and our learning design team.
• Facilitating live learning activities that engage and support student learning.
• Undertaking assessment tasks (including moderation, marking, and feedback) as well as processing and submitting results according to set timelines.
