About The Position

An Online Grocery Shopper (or In-Store Shopper) selects, packs, and prepares customer orders for pickup or delivery, ensuring high-quality, fresh items are chosen efficiently. Key duties include using handheld technology for shopping, managing item substitutions, following safety protocols, and providing excellent customer service within tight time constraints.

Requirements

• Excellent verbal and written skills.
• Ability to lift up to 40-50 pounds and stand/walk for 6-8 hours.
• Proficiency with smartphone apps.
• Typically 18+ years old

Nice To Haves

• Previous retail, grocery, or customer service experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Locate, scan, and select high-quality produce, meat, and dry goods efficiently.
• Communicate with customers via app or phone regarding out-of-stock items, item replacements, and refunds.
• Bag items according to standards and store them in correct temperature zones (freezer/refrigerator).
• Deliver and load orders directly into customers' vehicles, providing a positive, fast experience.
