About The Position

UpLift is redefining the mental healthcare model by creating a multi-sided marketplace that uses technology to connect patients with therapists and psychiatric providers covered by their insurance. Despite a significant portion of Americans struggling with mental health issues, many do not receive care, partly because a low percentage of therapists accept insurance. UpLift bridges this gap between patients, providers, and insurers, enabling patients to find affordable and suitable care.

This role offers the opportunity to expand access to psychiatric services for individuals who might otherwise lack them. You will work collaboratively with UpLift's network of licensed therapists to deliver evidence-based care through an all-in-one virtual platform that handles credentialing, enrollment, and operations. The position is 100% remote, allowing you to work from anywhere and deliver care via UpLift's telemedicine platform. It is a flexible, part-time, 1099 contract position.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience as a licensed Psychiatrist.
• Active medical license in good standing.
• Comfortable prescribing medication when clinically appropriate and permitted by state law.
• Skilled at using online tools and technology to deliver virtual care.
• Medical License (Preferred)
• Location: United States (Required)

Nice To Haves

• Previous telemedicine experience is a plus.
• Multiple state licenses and fluency in additional languages are strong advantages.

Responsibilities

• Conduct video consultations and message with patients via telemedicine.
• Assess, screen, diagnose, and prescribe medication as clinically appropriate.
• Coordinate treatment planning and care delivery with UpLift’s network of therapists.
• Provide empathetic, high-quality care and uphold UpLift’s clinical and service standards.
• Share product and workflow feedback with UpLift’s engineering and operations teams to help improve care delivery.

Benefits

• Estimated Effective Hourly Earnings: Earnings between $119 to $242 per hour is based on a 60-minute session assumption that includes a combination of patient visits and hourly equivalent CPT codes. Compensation for CPT codes can vary based on clinician’s license and state of licensure.
