About The Position

We are looking for instructors to teach in our Masters Electronics Engineering Technology programs. This would be an ideal position for an Electronics Engineering professional. No prior teaching experience is needed; we provide training, mentoring, and ongoing faculty support. Since 1966, ECPI University’s employees have been dedicated to helping students achieve their academic and career goals through our unique education model. Our terms are five weeks long and offer faculty the perfect environment in which to share their specific industry experiences to help students achieve learning outcomes. Candidates must be available evenings and weekends to support our busy adult learners.

Requirements

• Doctoral degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or in a related field with 18 graduate semester hours in the discipline from a regionally accredited educational institution.
• Familiarity with Multisim and Labview software.
• Experience with Siemens and Allen-Bradley PLCs.
• Familiarity with CAD software.
• 3-5 years industry experience in an electrical and/or manufacturing engineering field required.
• Industry experience must be within the last 5 years.
• Mechatronics candidates should have a strong background in control systems, instrumentation and measurements, and mechanical systems.
• Appropriate technical certification or licensure (if required).
• Experience in Analog & Digital Electronics.
• Experience in Programmable Logic Controllers.
• Experience in Microcontrollers.
• Experience in Field Programmable Logic Arrays, FPGAs.
• Experience in Communication Systems.
• Experience in Robotics & Smart Manufacturing.
• Experience in Machine Learning.
• Experience in Computer Aided Drafting & Design.
• Experience in Engineering Mechanics.
• Highest levels of integrity at all times.
• Ability to quickly build connections with students using strong interpersonal skills (including approachability and empathy).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a 5-week accelerated course environment.
• Reliable high-speed internet required.
• Responsible for supplying your own windows-based computer and webcam.
• Computer system must pass the ECPI University minimum requirements test.

Responsibilities
