About The Position

Join the Global LT community and help provide language lessons to business professionals and their families worldwide. We are hiring an Online Korean speaking - English Teacher to provide customized online lessons to our clients. You will have an active and independent role as a language teacher. Once onboarded, you'll have access to the teachers' platform and receive offers. With the assistance of your Talent Success Coach, you can accept the classes that match your schedule and preferences. You have complete control over your lessons, and we don't require a minimum number of hours weekly or monthly. This specific position is for an individual class for a gentleman. The client is located in Mountain View, CA and has an intermediate target language level. The language spoken at home is Korean. The preferred start date is ASAP, with lessons scheduled 3-4 times a week for 1 or 1.5 hours each. The client wishes to improve listening and speaking skills and learn more about US working culture. Lesson topics should cover a wide range of areas including vocabulary building, listening comprehension, pronunciation, common phrases, slang, business culture, presentation skills, and more. The client also desires a study time plan.

Requirements

Native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in the target language
To have a degree or certification in language teaching, education, instructional design, writing, language, linguistics, second language acquisition, or related field
To have a minimum of two years of experience teaching English
