About The Position

Global LT is seeking Online Japanese Teachers to provide customized online lessons to business professionals and their families worldwide. Global LT has been a leader in language and culture training, translation, and interpretation services since 1979, aiming to provide expatriates and their families with language and cultural training globally. The company is expanding its network of qualified teachers due to a recent surge in requests for advanced language tutoring.

Requirements

• Native or near-native proficiency in the target language, both written and spoken.
• A degree or certification in language teaching, education, instructional design, linguistics, second-language acquisition, or a related field.
• At least two years of Japanese language teaching experience.

Nice To Haves

• Experience teaching beginner level students.
• Familiarity with teaching topics such as basic conversations, greetings, ordering at restaurants, fashion, snowboarding, interacting with drivers for transport, wheelchair accessibility, asking to bring dogs, and changing websites from Japanese to English.
