About The Position
Dwight Global Online School, a top-ranked online high school, is seeking an experienced and innovative IB Biology and Chemistry teacher for virtual classes. The ideal candidate is a flexible, innovative team player capable of inspiring online students globally. While the position is remote, teachers can be located anywhere but must be available for synchronous classes during late morning to early evening Eastern Time. Course preparation begins in August 2026, with classes starting in September 2026.
Requirements
- At least three years of experience teaching middle and/or high school level learners.
- Experience teaching IB Biology and Chemistry.
- Available to teach synchronous classes during the late morning until early evening in Eastern Time.
- Ability to begin course preparation in August 2026.
Nice To Haves
- Undergraduate and/or Graduate degree in Science Education, Science, or a related field.
- Experience working, teaching, and collaborating online.
- Experience teaching both IB Biology and Chemistry (candidates teaching only one subject may apply).
Responsibilities
- Teach virtual IB Biology and Chemistry classes.
- Prepare courses for online delivery.
- Engage and inspire online students globally.
- Conduct synchronous classes during specified hours.
