About The Position

Reporting to an Ohio State Online Recruitment leader, the Online Enrollment Advisor (EA) will lead and serve as the expert on their assigned population of prospective students, actively engage, connect with, and sell their prospective students on Ohio State, help to develop Ohio State online program recruitment materials and processes, and share prospective student feedback with college partners. The Online Enrollment Advisor will be responsible for actively engaging and selling their prospective students on all aspects of the online program of interest using a consultative advising approach. This person will be someone who understands how to sell and convert prospective students on enrolling in an online program at Ohio State. The Online Enrollment Advisor will lead prospects through the application process to help them understand if the program will meet their career objectives, if they meet the qualifications for what is required in the application, and to subsequently monitor the progress of the applicants’ submissions. Excellent customer service is a critical component of this role. This includes talking with prospective students and using the form of communication that best fits with them whether that is a phone call, video call, email or text. All activity and notes will be captured in the CRM. As needs evolve, this person will help adapt processes and recruiting materials to always ensure Ohio State has the best chance of converting any prospective student. The Online Enrollment Advisor will work closely with a marketing counterpart to offer any pertinent feedback on lead quality. This person will also work closely with the reenrollment team as prospects become students and transition their relationships to the reenrollment team.
