About The Position

The Really Great Teacher Company is seeking qualified, South Africa-based English teachers to teach young learners online. This role offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing teachers to build their own schedules and earn in US dollars. The position involves teaching one-on-one or one-on-two classes to young learners aged 4-16 from China, with a proficiency range of A1-C1. Classes are short and engaging, designed to keep both teachers and students focused. The company provides regular students, free professional development, and strong onboarding and support through its Inspire Academy and Evolve Program.

Requirements

Completed National Diploma (tertiary) in any field.
Accredited 120-hour TEFL, TESOL, CELTA or equivalent certification.
Minimum 1 year of teaching experience.
Clear, effective spoken English.
Consistent weekly availability that can be genuinely committed to.
Must be based in South Africa.
Computer: Intel® Core™ i5 or higher, 8GB RAM minimum.
Internet: Fibre connection, 20 Mbps up/down via LAN cable.
Backup Power: UPS with 4–5 hours battery life.
Audio/Video: Noise-cancelling headset and HD webcam.

Responsibilities

Teach young learners aged 4-16 online.
Conduct one-on-one and one-on-two classes.
