About The Position

ECPI University is seeking Psychology professionals to join their faculty team for an online Criminal Justice Faculty position. No prior teaching experience is necessary as the university provides training, mentoring, and ongoing faculty support. Faculty members will deliver practical, hands-on instruction through the Canvas Learning Management System (LMS) in an engaging environment, utilizing innovative teaching methodologies to enhance the student learning experience. The role involves teaching in a 5-week accelerated course format.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Criminal Justice, or a Master’s degree with 18 graduate semester hours in the discipline from a regionally accredited educational institution.
• 3-5 years industry experience required; industry experience must be within the last 5 years.
• Appropriate technical certification or licensure (if required).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in using technology to deliver online curriculum (Windows, Zoom).
• Ability to quickly build connections with students using strong interpersonal skills (including approachability and empathy).
• Ability to work in a 5-week accelerated course environment.
• The highest levels of integrity at all times.
• Reliable high-speed internet required.
• Responsible for supplying your own windows-based computer and webcam.
• Computer system must pass the ECPI University minimum requirements test.

Nice To Haves

• Ph.D. in Criminal Justice discipline preferred.
• 5-7 years career industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities
