Taylor University invites applications for Online Adjunct Instructors in Accounting to support current and future online course offerings through the Center for Digital & Extended Learning (CDEL). Instructors help create an engaging, academically rigorous, and supportive learning experience for Taylor students. Potential undergraduate courses include financial and intermediate accounting, managerial and cost accounting, auditing, accounting information systems, accounting analytics, and other accounting courses according to departmental and program needs. Specific assignments depend on instructor qualifications and experience, course availability, and departmental needs. Appointment to the adjunct pool does not guarantee a specific teaching assignment. Online adjunct instructors work in partnership with the academic department and CDEL. They facilitate courses in accordance with established objectives, learning outcomes, and academic standards; interact regularly with students; communicate through the learning management system and other approved channels; provide feedback; grade work and submit final grades on time; maintain course records; monitor student engagement and progress; and complete required onboarding and training. Instructors follow established course design and instructional expectations for CDEL-supported courses and support Taylor University's mission and commitment to whole-person education. Taylor University is a Christ-centered educational institution. Faculty are expected to testify to personal experience of salvation in Jesus Christ, affirm the University's Statement of Faith, abide by and practice its Life Together Covenant, and agree with and support the University's Foundational Documents. The University seeks faculty who support its mission and approach to Christian higher education.
